The season is starting again and things have not changed. I found the place stimulating and full of interesting people but it is not a good place to go by yourself.

The shops are full of clothes and sexy gadgets. Down the beach (approximately 2km I believe) you can join in or witness the sex that occurs there. You can lay on the beach in the nude and nobody will bother you. Can highly recommend Johnny Wokkers (English speaking) as he goes out of his way to make you welcome and encourages other people to chat with you. The restaurants served up very nice food but you need to pick and choose your bars as some charge a high price for a very small glass.

Many clubs are for couples only and those that aren't seem to insist on a sexy dress code for women whilst the men more often than not did not dress up. I was lucky to meet an English man who assisted me to find my feet, however, I found myself feeling very lonely. Non residents can stay overnight at a naturist hotel, campground or rental units.I went there as a single woman. Visitors are free to be naked wherever they want – restaurants and stores, post offices or banks, sailing boats or lounging on the long public beach, where nudity is obligatory, even for those not staying at the resort. Sometimes called the “ Naked City,” Cap d’Agde is the world’s largest clothing-optional beach resort, attracting as many as 40,000 guests on any given day during a typical high season. An additional 310 results are currently being analyzed.

The two first rounds of testing, involving 490 people, found 95 were infected with Covid-19. Occitanie Regional Health Authorities conducted three days of testing last week at Cap d’Agde. Local health authorities say 95 people staying at Cap d’Agde Naturist Village, on the Mediterranean coast of France’s Occitanie region, were found to have Covid-19, while a further 50 who went through the resort also tested positive on their return home. The world’s largest nudist resort is at the center of a Covid-19 outbreak with nearly 150 people testing positive after staying at or visiting the clothing-optional beach destination in southern France.
